April 1, 2008
Issue #15

Okay here is April 1st, otherwise known as April Fools Day, and we are finally declaring that it is spring. It seems a bit like Mother Nature is playing a joke on us that it has taken until April 1st for us to really believe that all that snow would melt.

In floral, Michael has wonderful fragrant sprigs of double lilacs. The tulips either from France or local are just fabulous, and some of the ranunculus are just spectacular. (Ask Michael about the green ones with just a few pink leaves at the bottom) The fresh fragrant flowers of spring are here. Sometimes we loiter by the floral section just to look at the flowers.

Shawn and Michael just got back from a buying trip to India. We are waiting until Shawn is at the studio and we're going to grab his camera and copy all those photos. Look for some nice travel shots in upcoming blogs.

Now that the earth is not frozen solid and you might venture out to discover there really is brown under all that white, we have some tools for you. Our new gardening tools take their inspiration from art in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. These fabulous pieces are fun and functional. We just hope we have some left for Mother's Day as these will make great gifts.

Our commitment to green continues to expand with organic cotton tea towels and table napkins. Our Eco Cards, one of our April green products, are so popular that we had to hide a few so there would be some available to our internet users. If you are in the stores and you don't see them, wait until there aren't too many people around and ask. We bought all we could from the supplier, but Eco cards are both green and hot.

The new Rosanna line has finally arrived. Come check out the new designs.

Too many new things to mention them all.

Time to open the doors...
