Chirstmas is fast approaching and Teatro Verde is busy, but we stole a few minutes from Teatro Verde's co-founder Shawn Gibson for some great last minute gift ideas.  We DO have connections after all!   Here are some of his favourites for great last minute gifts.

"Assouline Books make great gifts."   Assouline Books are only sold from Assouline boutiques or special Assouline bookstores.   For the next closest store you will have to book a plane flight, so these make great unique gifts.  Here are a few of our favourites:

Oscar Niemeyer.   This deluxe boxed editon makes as much a statement as the great man himself.

Polo, The Nomadic Tribe, by Aline Coquelle.  This is the ultimate book on the sport of kings.  Even if you don't play, you can live vicariously through these pages.

Shawn also recommends these adorable plush purses and wristlets.   This shipment was due to be deliverd in the beginning of December, but was just delivered a couple of days ago.  We think it was becuase the customs agents couldn't bear to part with these cuties.  The good news is these are unique, new and just arrived in town so there is little chance someone already has one!  The perfect gift for her!

These are purses.   They never need to be fed or walked, and they never eat expensive shoes!

These cuties are wristlets.  Just small enough to hold what you need, but these pups won't slow you down.

For those who are hard to shop for and have everything, Shawn suggests A Doggie Fart Extinguisher.   We can guarantee that when that moment occurs and you pull out this fire extinguisher shaped air freshener everyone will be laughing so hard they will forget about the fragrant canine.   We all love our dogs, but sometimes eau de chien can be a bit strong, and this is the perfect solution.   These appeared on Breakfast Television, but we had already sold out by then.  The new shipment arrived this morning!
