Ahh, summer. We all thought winter would never end, and it finally feels good to kick back and enjoy some sunshine. Alright, there have been a few thunderstorms, but summer is here and we are getting out and enjoying it every chance we get.
One of our favourite things to do from our Hazelton Lanes store is to take a stroll in the afternoon sunshine to 100 Yorkville. This will be our new home this time next year and we are so excited about that. We have grand plans for that historic space. 100 Yorkville used to be a private home, then it was turned into Mount Sinai hospital, and now the elegant stone facade will be attached to a modern building and through those historic doors will be our home. As you can probably tell we're a bit excited about every aspect of this move.
We have even started researching the history of the site and Shawn has been visiting various libraries gathering data and photographs. We are putting together a visual history of the place and we were thinking of putting it on our website so we could share our passion with everyone else in Toronto. If you have an old historic photo why don't you give us a call or an email and we would love to add it to our collection.
Enjoy the sunshine, and we'll see you in the stores. We'll be the ones restocking the butter boys.
