We have just received a shipment of rare exotic orchids.  These beauties have blooms that just don't arrive in Toronto, let alone most of Canada.  Michael Pellegrino, co-owner of Teatro Verde and the head of our floral department, saw these exotic orchids and bought the whole shipment!   Some of these orchids are phalaenopsis orchids, but others we haven't identified as yet!  We wanted to get these photos onto our blog while we still have these in stock!

Here is a full stem of these gorgeous blooms.  An orchid like this one will bloom for several weeks, and if well cared for even longer!  It is a little known fact that orchids require very little care, and in fact can thrive on neglect.  

Orchids don't like a great deal of water, and they often grow on trees in the wild.  These orchids were carefully and lovingly grown in a greenhouse by a skilled and dedicated orchid grower.
