We are extremely proud that our very own design expert Shawn Gibson was chosen to design the spectacular 51 foot Quebec tree at Bryant Park in New York City. Bryant park was filled with Canadian spirit with Shawn, The Barenaked Ladies, Circque du Soleil and many other northern imports for this amazing event in New York City!

There were Canadian Mounties on hand for the event.   Don't they look great.  That's the unlit tree behind them.  When the tree was lit there was a gasp from the crowd at the sheer beauty of the moment.

For the event our Northern based gang included Shawn Gibson, Michael Pellegrino, Janette Ewen and Chrissy Rejman.  Janette is a stylist extrodinaire for The Globe & Mail,  and CityLine design expert.  Chrissy Rejman is the fabulous executive producer of CityLine.  That's Janette walking in front of the tree.

The Barenaked Ladies preformed at the ceremony, they were amazing, and here they are with Shawn.   These guys can stop by the store anytime they want.

After the events we all went the Celsius Lounge at Bryant Park and enjoyed everything Canadian at Bryant Park.  The Celsius had northern ligths - drinks that had flashing lights in them, and after a few drinks you really could see the Northen Lights!

The Gang joined by Shawn's good friend and former theater buddy Barbara Hourigan.  Barbara is from New York, but she loves to visit Shawn in Toronto!

What a great party - let's do this again next year!
