It was a long and beautiful autumn, but as the snow flakes softly fall to the ground we know that winter has finally arrived. We have a good relationship with winter here at Teatro Verde. We love the songs, we love the crisply wrapped gifts and feeling of good cheer. Not to mention the great chocolate fondue for all of you that stopped by last Saturday - that was good stuff! We love the festive feel of the season. We just need an extra day in the week for all that we want to do, like keep our blog up to date, but that's a fairly common problem this time of year.
We're really proud of Michael's photo shoot in Gardening Life magazine. He did all the beautiful holiday wreaths they have featured. The funny thing is, because it had to be photographed earlier the wreaths for the article were actually prepared and photographed months ago. We had a great time watching winter wreaths being created when the air conditioning was on full blast to keep the flowers from wilting. We just couldn't stop ourselves from humming holiday songs. It made for a strange July.
Now here we are at the end of November and we're thinking back to those warm days of summer. Would we trade? Nah, this is too good a season to miss by not being here living, breathing, experiencing everything the season has to offer. So, go out and smile and wish someone a happy holiday season or we'll have the garden gnomes track you down.
