Tracey Ullman and Mel Clark, the co-authors of Knit 2 Together, came to Teatro Verde to sign books and try to teach Shawn how to knit a sweater. Tracey was a great sport during the event, alternating showing off her knitting knowledge and performing impromptu impersonations. She had everyone in stitches with her Ruby Romaine character and her Fern Rosenthal personna from her HBO comedy show. Mel Clark, designer and yarn shop owner, completely charmed Shawn and Michael with her quick wit, designer sense, and of course her beautifully knit sweater. We can't wait to have the pair back again for Knit 2 Together 2!
